Unified Development Ordinance (UDO)
The result of 3-year development process led by the Planning Board, contractor, and Town Staff. The UDO has been designed to promote development consistent with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and to meet the new NCGS 160-D Land Use Legislation. The UDO works to protect the unique character of Laurel Park while allowing for flexibility in development which is consistent with the comprehensive land use plan.
