Sewer service is available in specific areas of town, but the majority of homes are on private septic systems. Customers connected to the Town's water distribution service are billed by the Town of Laurel Park; customers connected to Hendersonville's water system are billed directly by the City of Hendersonville. All public collection lines are owned by the City of Hendersonville.

The most recent study regarding sewer service was complete in 2009.

Boil Water Advisory

What is a Boil Water Advisory?
A Boil Water Advisory is a public notification informing water customers of the Town of Laurel Park to boil their tap water before using it for drinking purposes, typically in response to an event that could allow contaminants to enter the water distribution system. Such events would include scheduled water line maintenance, water main breaks, small or widespread loss of system pressure, power outage or a natural disaster.
